FHS Softball Summer Camp 2019

We will teach and build fundamentals through drills and competition. We will provide an opportunity to meet other softball athletes and teach team concepts. We will encourage for a fun and positive outlook for the sport we love.

Date & Time:  June 19th, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM, June 20th - 21st, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The camp is open to incoming 3rd - 9th graders

Ferndale Golden Eagles Boys Basketball Youth Summer Camp 2019

  • Date and Time: June 24th-26th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the FHS Gym
  • For: Boys Entering Grades 4th-8th
  • Cost: $60 if registered by June 14th or  $75 after June 14th
  • Details: All players receive a t-shirt and first 70 players registered receive a Ferndale basketball

Ferndale Basketball: Playing with Fire, with Focus and for Family 

Ferndale Golden Eagles Girls Basketball Youth Summer Camp 2019

  • Date and Time: June 24th-25th from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the FHS Gym
  • For: Students from 2nd grade to 7th grade (based on 2019-2020 school year)
  • Cost: $35
  • Details: Registration includes a T-Shirt, must be registered by June 5th to guarantee a T-Shirt. Staff will include the FHS coaches and players. Focus will be on teaching the basic fundamentals of basketball - shooting, passing, ball handling, defense and team play.

Hot Summer Chess Grand Prix 

The 2019 Hot Summer Chess rated tournaments are open to any 2nd-12th grade players that desire to play competitive NWSRS rated tournament games. Beginner players are welcome! Freshly graduated H.S. seniors are welcome to play also.

Tournaments are held almost every Thursday evening this summer at the Ferndale Public Library.

Summer Institute of Chess Mastery (SICM) 2019

Are you ready to get good at chess? Really good? And have fun while doing so?

The Summer Institute of Chess Mastery is for those students who are ready to develop their talent with a combination of practice, personal instruction, home study and tournament participation over the summer of 2019. Students in SICM set their own improvement goals, and then develop a plan to reach those goals. By summer's end you'll be an experienced chessplayer, ready to enjoy the benefits of chess for the remainder of your life.

Ray of Hope Summer Camp

Ray of Hope 2019 will be a five-week summer day program unlike any other, including arts and crafts, recreation, field trips, and group time where kids ages 5 through 12 - many of whom have experienced difficult life circumstances - are introduced to empowering social and behavioral skills necessary to navigate tough situations.

Ray of Hope is for kids who most need, yet seldom experience, a holistic, well-staffed, fun and safe summer!

Ray of Hope will begin on Monday, July 1st and run for 5 weeks through August 2nd.

Summer Youth Programs at Western Washington University

Western welcomes students in grades 1-12 to learn and explore in a college setting this summer. Youth program focuses include science, art, camp, leadership development and even intergenerational learning where children and their grandparents can take a course together.
