Ferndale Family Partnership
Program philosophy and vision
FFP strives to provide students and families with a robust and creative learning experience. Through continual two-way communication, support, expanded class offerings, events, and educational monitoring, our students will successfully progress through grade-level standards in a unique way. We desire to build relationships with students and families to understand individual needs, be adaptable and flexible, and demonstrate our commitment to student learning.
Welcome!
Ferndale Family Partnership is an Alternative Learning Experience (ALE) program for Kindergarten-8th grade that follows Washington State requirements.
Mission Statement
It is the core belief of the FFP program that families are the primary educators. The role of the program is to support family directed learning by providing resources and curriculum, access to certificated teachers, and engagement in a learning community to support their journey. Rather than replace family directed learning, it is our intention to help enhance the learning at home. This partnership between home and school creates an excellent opportunity for children to grow, learn, and have access to special services through the district with support from certificated teachers.
