FINANCE

a. Prepares annual school district budgets.

 

b. Monitors expenditures to preclude overspending and budget extensions.

 

c. Supervises building budgets.

 

d. Provides monthly financial statements.

 

e. Supervises payroll and accounts payable functions.

 

f.    Ensures that reports contain proper information and are submitted in a timely fashion.

 

g. Develops and reports current tax data and its impact.

 

h. Supervises the investment funds.

 

i.    Assists with financial data for negotiations.

 

j.    Ensures that effective data processing services are implemented and maintained.

 

k. Develops special levy and bond financial data and assists with bond and levy promotion.

 

l.    Ensures an appropriate district insurance program is maintained.

 

 

FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM

 

a. Supervises cafeteria manager.

 

b. Ensures compliance with State and Federal Regulations.

 

c. Ensures maintenance of the class-A lunch program.

 

 

FACILITIES

a. Ensures buildings are clean and properly maintained.

 

b. Recommends major maintenance projects.

 

c. Develops, maintains, and ensures compliance with preventive maintenance plan.

 

d. Supervises public use for rental of school property.

 

e. Prepares reports for state matching funds on projects.

 

f.    Oversees district construction programs.

 

 

TRANSPORTATION

a. Supervises administrator for transportation.

 

b. Oversees development and implementation of vehicle replacement plans.

 

c. Provides general overall supervision for transportation

department.

 

 

PERSONNEL

a. Supervises and evaluates designated personnel.

 

b. Assists superintendent in the evaluation of the

administrator for transportation and public information.

 

c. Assists with classified personnel matters.

 

d. Ensures district compliance with Health, Safety and

Environmental Protection Agency Regulations.

 

 

PROFESSIONAL PREPARATION AND SCHOLARSHIP

a. Continues professional study and activity.

 

b. Uses current knowledge on education and administrative

matters..
