Procedure - Administrative Internship Program

The Ferndale School District has an obligation to provide opportunities for guidance and experience which will lead to qualified candidates securing credentials for administration in the public schools of Washington. Following is the Principal Administrative Internship Program for the Ferndale School District.

Staff members interested in pursuing internship opportunities other than principal (e.g., program administrator, superintendent) must obtain permission from the superintendent. Once permission is granted, the prospective intern will write his/her internship plan in consultation with the superintendent, university supervisor, etc.
