Kiwanis Student of the Month March 2023: Brittany Case

Athletics are a major part of FHS senior Brittany Case’s life. She has lettered in both cheer and tennis for the Golden Eagles and plans to keep participating in these sports in college.

Case is also involved in Future Farmers of America, National Honor Society and the FHS leadership program. For the latter group, she organized last year’s Veteran’s Day assembly with a fellow student, helped lead freshmen orientation and kindergarten tours of FHS, and is in charge of planning this year’s senior class photo (where all the seniors will stand in the shape of a giant “23”).

“I just love helping people in the community and making an impact, so everybody can feel appreciated,” she said. “For people who served our country, like our veterans, I wanted to give back to them.”

Case said the most influential people in her life are her parents, who have been a great source of support and motivation.

“They make sure I am always on top of everything and have always pushed me to my best abilities,” she said.

After graduation, Case will attend Central Washington University, where she’ll hopefully continue participating in cheer, tennis, farming, and leadership. She plans to major in elementary education and become a teacher.

“I just want to do something that can impact people’s lives, and being a teacher is something I’ve always wanted to be. I want to have a positive influence on kids and get them to love education, like I did.”
