Helping schools meet the relational needs of our youth.
Be the One invites community individuals to walk beside a student in an affirming relationship. To make a difference in their lives through a one-on-one weekly mentoring experience.
Be the One in Ferndale
Ferndale High School ended the 2018-2019 school year with 18 mentoring matches. The 2019-2020 school year will be our first full school year at Ferndale High School. We have 15 mentoring matches continuing this year; 1 mentee graduated June 2019 and we accounted for 185 mentoring hours between January-June (2nd semester).
FHS Be the One is looking for community mentors to reflect our student body. Specifically, we are in need of community members who:
- Speak Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian or Punjabi
- Are Native-American or Lummi
