Talented and Gifted Program Nominations for the 2024-25 School Year
The nomination process for next year’s Highly Capable Program will take place in April for classes beginning next fall.
These programs will serve students who demonstrate highly capable learning when compared with others of their age, experiences or environments.
Parent Nomination forms are available below or from your child’s school.
Nominations are open for 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th grade students. All 2nd and 5th grade students are screened for the Highly Capable Program as required by Washington State.
The deadline for Parent Nominations is Friday, May 3rd at 4:00 PM.
Please return your form to your child’s teacher or mail to Ferndale School District Attn: Pamela Wasley 6041 Vista Dr, Ferndale, WA 98248. Nominations received after May 3rd will not be accepted.
A Qualification Assessment will be given during the school day in May 2024.
