Media relations

Communications Office works closely with the local media to provide necessary district information and achievements.


Family and community involvement are key elements in student success. Each school is striving to provide family involvement information and volunteer opportunities to parents. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer in our schools.

Public Records

Ferndale Schools is the district newsletter mailed three times per year to each household in the district and posted electronically to the district website. It provides the general community with important district information. The publication focuses on teaching and learning, student and staff recognition, parent and community involvement and other timely matters.

The communications office publishes promotional materials, bond/levy information, fact sheets, flyers and brochures.

Register to Vote

The district encourages all persons to register and exercise their right to vote in all elections.


Request Authorization to Distribute Materials

Communications Office reviews and processes requests from individuals and organizations who wish to distribute materials to staff and students.

Special Events and Recognitions
