The Ferndale School District Board of Directors is in search of a director to fill the vacancy representing District #3. District #3 covers the southeastern region of the FSD boundaries including Lummi Island.

Applications will be accepted through January 6, 2023 at 4pm. Selected candidates will be interviewed on January 24th in a special meeting. (subject to change)

District #3 Boundaries are as follows:

Starting at the intersection of the BNSF Railroad and Unick Rd in the southwest corner of Section 28, Township 39, Range 01E.

East on Unick Rd to Olsen Rd. South on Olsen Rd to Lampman Rd.

East on Lampman Rd to S Church Rd. North on S Church Rd to Ulrick Rd.

East on Ulrick Rd and extension to the Nooksack River.

Meandering southerly through the Nooksack River to the school district boundary. Clockwise on the school district boundary to the eastern border of Section 20, Township39, Range 01E and the Puget Sound shoreline.

Southerly on the Puget Sound shoreline to the northern point of the 2020 Census Block 530730105042024 in Parcel 186709.

Southerly on the eastern border of said block to the road servicing the three tank Petrogas storage area in Parcel 186709 that is also the northern border of the 2020 Census Block 530730105041038. Clockwise on said block to the BNSF Railroad.

Southerly on the BNSF Railroad to the point of the beginning.
