Ferndale High School’s logo and colors are getting a refresh that’s both forward-thinking and considerate of our 111-year heritage.
The Golden Eagles will now wear navy blue and gold – a return to the classic FHS colors after a period of wearing royal blue. And the logos, designed by Everett design team Dykeman Architects, are striking, original and incorporate subtle touches of Coast Salish art. A group of prominent Ferndale alumni, including Jay Julius, Jake Locker and Heather Leighton, provided local input to ensure the new Golden Eagle look would reflect our community.
The new look accompanies the new building for Ferndale High School, currently being built and set to open in the fall of 2023. Golden Eagle athletic and activities teams will receive new, updated uniforms over the next couple years.
