Good morning staff and families,

We are continuing to monitor the air quality. Currently, the Ferndale School District is in the 'unhealthy’ range. We remain in contact with the Whatcom County Health Department.

Today we will be taking the following precautions:

• Making masks available for those who would like to use them
• Each building will limit outdoor activities, including recess and P.E.
• Doors and windows will remain closed to the extent possible

We know that conditions may change, we will continue to monitor air quality and provide updates as necessary. As always, the safety of our students and staff remain the top priority and we support you making the best decision for you and your family regarding school attendance.
