Ferndale students, staff, and families,

In light of recent national and local events, we want to assure you that safety in our buildings is a top priority at Ferndale School District. In partnership with the Ferndale Police Department, please expect to see an increase in law enforcement presence in our school communities over the next few days.

As always, we encourage you, parents, students, staff, community members, to report any suspicious or possibly threatening behavior as well as encouraging our children to do so. Any threats or questionable behavior can be reported to Ferndale School District administration and/or Ferndale Police Department. Please remember that Ferndale Schools also have an anonymous reporting tool Vector Alert. 
 
Remember that each of our schools is filled with people who care about our families, students and staff, and we are here to help. Thank you for being a great partner in our children’s education and a supportive neighbor in the Ferndale community.
